A simple segmentation of the plate can deskew and it can even remove the horizontal lines from the plate cover, but it cannot separate the characters from the frame. |

So COPR uses its advanced features to remove the frame from the segmented image. |

This allows COPR to fit rectangles around each of the characters. Notice that COPR is intelligent enough to separate the last character from the right hand side of the frame. |
